A Little About Me

I am a first-year teacher at a high school in Irving ISD and have three years of full-time substitute teaching experience with Arlington ISD. I am a product of Lamar High School in Arlington, Texas, and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where I studied Rhetoric & Writing and Spanish Literature. At present, I am completing my Master's degree in English at the University of Texas at Arlington, with specific concentration in Sport Literature, baseball fiction, and identity. I have always enjoyed teaching. I started volunteer-tutoring early in high school,  took part in mentor programs like Peer Assistant Leadership, and spent four months in Buenos Aires teaching English.
